United Churches across Alberta and NW, and BC Conferences are invited to take part in a special Naramata Centre Worship Service to highlight program opportunities at the Centre for individuals and families, and to celebrate the rich legacy of Naramata Centre’s ministry in the life and work of the United Church.

A committee of volunteers has prepared a worship service  which includes suggested prayers, sermon options, music, and a brief Naramata Centre video and slideshow. The worship service may be adapted to suit the needs of your congregation, with a suggested time for testimonials or personal reflections by people from your congregation who have attended the Centre.

Also available below are links to a Linnea Good song, Blessed are Those Who Are Called to the Table, from her album Momentary Saints, which Linnea has offered to churches for use on Naramata Centre Sunday.

In many congregations, individuals have offered to serve as a congregational contact for Naramata Centre and are willing to assist in planning and taking part in the service. If we have not confirmed a contact person for your church, perhaps you know of someone who would like to volunteer.  The Naramata Centre Sunday Worship Service is user friendly, informative and uplifting!

For more than 60 years, Naramata Centre has been an accepting, welcoming and caring place for people of all ages and backgrounds. Deeply rooted in the Christian faith, the Centre is a place for learning and building community, and a unique place for intergenerational family programs and retreats. It is your United Church learning and retreat centre.

Naramata Centre’s mission is to be a place of learning, spiritual nurture and renewal … inspiring people to make a difference in the world. Each summer more than 2400 people of all ages experience the Centre’s summer program of learning, worship and community for all ages. And many more attend fall, winter and spring programs of leadership development, spiritual nurture, healing and just community.

We invite you and members of your congregation to Come to the table at Naramata Centre, to learn more by participating in Naramata Centre Sunday on November 15, or on alternative date that may work better in your church.

Naramata Centre equips leaders for the church and world, nurtures families and changes lives.  Please join us in this special day.
